Cellulose Insulation

Cellulose Insulation is manufactured using up to 80% recycled material such as newspapers and other natural wood fibers. The fibers are then chemically treated to help prevent mold, insects, combustion, and corrosion. Similar to Fiberglass Loosefill, Cellulose Insulation is installed using industry engineered machinery to blow the insulation into the wall cavity or attic. Because of its high recycled content and proficiency in an existing wall, Cellulose Insulation is a favorite material for re-insulating under performing homes and improving their energy efficiency. Cellulose Insulation is also often used in new construction to achieve a consistent R-value per inch and maximize its flexibility in irregular cavities.
